How to Add Friends in Super Mario Run, Find Player ID

Super Mario Run might be one of Nintendo’s first mobile games, but they’ve already had quite a bit of experience creating multiplayer experiences. Super Mario Run is no different, and players can add their friends in the game, which will allow them to challenge them in special races, and even compete against them in the game’s competitive mode. In this article we’ll show you how to add friends to your friend list, as well as show you how to find your Super Mario Run Player ID.

How to Find your Player ID

To find your Player ID in Super Mario Run, you’ll need to know your way around the game’s main screen, the Kingdom Builder. Take note of the different icons on the screen at this time, and notice the one that says Friends in the top left side of the screen. This is your friend list. If you tap on the icon, it will open up a bigger screen that shows you the friends you have, a button to add friends, invite new friends, link friends via social media accounts, and even  answer friend requests.

To find your Player ID, click the Add button in the bottom of the screen. This will show you the Player ID screen where you can see your ID, and even enter in other Player IDs so that you can add your friends. Alternatively you can also press the Invite option and get a link that will automatically send people to your profile, allowing them to add you.

How to Add Friends

To add friends in Super Mario Run, either have them send you their Player ID, send them a link to your profile, or send them your Player ID so that they can add you to their list. Once somebody has sent you an invite, check the Accept tab in the friend list to see any pending invites. There you can choose to accept or ignore them, depending on what you want to do. Once you have added a friend they will appear in your friend list and you can challenge them to a friendly run by clicking on the big RUN symbol beside their name.
