Toad Rally in Super Mario Run

Toad Rally is Super Mario Run's multiplayer mode: You can compete against other players online in a competition of speed and accuracy. In Toad Rally, you'll race against a ghost version of your opponent while each of you complete a level. The number of coins you gather and tricks you pull off during the mini-game determines who wins the round.

New colors of Toads are unlocked as you defeat each World boss in the main Super Mario Run game. For example, you'll unlock green Toads when you complete World 1, and purple when you complete World 2. Keep an eye on what your opponent is offering up in terms of Toad colors. Different rallies have a different color of toad expected crowd. Tap on an opponent to see what the expected crowd will be.
When you win a rally, Toads will rejoin your kingdom. But if you lose a rally, some of them will leave. These Toads are not impressed.

Perform tricks to gain Toad Fans

When you perform tricks, you'll get the audience — a bunch of adorable Toads, natch — cheering and excited. The more Toads cheering you on, the higher your score. You'll want these little guys on your side: Not only do they help you in winning a rally, but if you win, they rejoin your kingdom, allowing you to unlock new and awesome buildings and decorations. Do wall jumps and crush your enemies to impress the Toads. But, be careful, dying will make them like you less. If you die while in a Rally, you'll lose everything you've built up in the Coin Rush meter and lower your overall score. When competing against others, every point counts.

Coin Rush

You can unleash a coin-collecting frenzy in Toad Rally by filling your Coin Rush meter: When it reaches full, coins start falling like rain, letting you get the most jingle in the least amount of time. You fill the coin rush meter by collecting coins (including Challenge Coins) and pulling off sweet tricks.

Super Mario Run - How to Get Different Colored Toads

Find out how to get Toads of different colors in Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Run is Nintendo’s first move into mobile gaming and it brings a lot of fun and cool ideas to one of Nintendo’s flagship series. In the game you can participate in several modes, some of which allow you to build up your Kingdom by collecting more Toads as citizens. In this article we’ll be showing you how to get Yellow, Blue, Green, and other colored Toads.

How to Know Which Toads Are on the Line

To earn different types of Toads, you have to look at the levels that you are facing off on within Toad Rally. From the Kingdom Builder screen, tap Toad Rally, and then look at the list of opponents that the game spawns on the right side of the screen. Here you can see how many Toads you opponent has as their total population, as well as which color Toads are on the line.

Take a look at the image we’ve included above and take notice of how our first opponent, CraigLennon, has Red, Blue, and Green Toads next to his population count. This means there are Red, Blue, and Green Toads on the line when you take on this opponent.
You can also see this indicated in the next screen. Tap on the opponent that you wish to go against, and then look at the Expected Crowd area labeled on the stage image. This will showcase the different Toads you can earn by winning in this match.

How to Unlock purple and Green Toads

As with any game, the color Toads you can acquire is based on how far you’ve made it in the main campaign. For Super Mario Run, the World Tour mode acts a single player campaign. In order to unlock the Purple and Green Toads, you’re going to need to complete the entire first World. This means purchasing the game, as you can’t beat the boss without dishing out the one-time fee of $9.99 for the whole deal.

How to Unlock Blue and Yellow Toads

Unlocking Blue and Yellow Toads works just like Purple and Green. This time around, however, you’ll need to complete the second World in the game. Once you do, you’ll receive a notification that new levels have been added to Toad Rally, allowing you to play new opponents and earn even more colored Toads.
You can learn more about how this whole system works by checking out our guide on how to win in Toad Rally. You should also take a look at our handy tips for how to earn more Toad Rally Tickets. That way you always have plenty of tickets to help you along your journey.
Becoming a master at Toad Rally can take time, so don’t stress out if you find yourself losing when you first get started. This is a competitive game mode, so be patient, and continue practicing to become better at it. We’d also highly suggest playing through the World Tour mode completely before diving into Toad Rally too much, as that gives you a good idea of what to expect out of the game, and also unlocks the potential to earn all the different colored Toads in Toad Rally.
Super Mario Run is now available on iOS devices, and if you want to unlock all the characters, and become a champion in Toad Rally, you’re going to have to know how to earn different Toads. With the information we’ve included above, you should now have a solid grasp on how you earn different colored Toads in the game. Super Mario Run - How to Win at Toad Rally - Get More Toads

Learn how to be a champion at Toad Rally in Super Mario Run.

Super Mario Run has plenty of offer Mario fans, and the game’s ‘campaign’ of sorts, World Tour, is just one piece of the pie. Another important game mode in Super Mario Run, Toad Rally, tasks players with competing against their friends to earn more Toadstools for their population. In this article we will break down how to win at Toad Rally, how to get more toads, and teach you everything you need to know to not only succeed, but to become a champion in Super Mario Run’s Toad Rally game mode.

How Toad Rally Works

Toad Rally is similar to the Super Mario’s World Tour mode, but instead of completing levels and fighting bosses, the game takes pieces of each level you’ve beaten, and chunks them together to create a makeshift course that you and your friends must compete within. The goal in Toad Rally is to acquire the most fans (which are represented by additional Toadstools that appear in the bottom of the screen). The more fans you have, the higher your chances of winning.
Of course, there’s a bit more to the game than just that, so we’re going to break it down even further for those of you who haven’t had a chance to try the game out yet.

How to Win in Toad Rally

Now that you know the basics of what Toad Rally is, it’s time to teach you how to win. Winning in Toad Rally is somewhat complicated. Instead of basing your skill on pure speed alone, the game focuses on how many Toadstools you’ve attracted, how far you've made it in the level, and how many coins you have collected during the match. Because of this, you'll have to focus on several things at once. First, be as quick as possible, but always collect coins and do tricks to earn more style. Pink Coins earn you a lot of points, so make sure to grab those during your run. Also, if you can make it to the black Bowser flag before your opponent, you'll be rewarded with 10 additional coins.
To perform tricks that gain more fans, you can simply tap the screen when Mario vaults over something. This will shoot him into the air, causing him to spiral around, which earns approval towards your Coin Rush meter. When the Coin Rush meter is full, each trail of coins you come across will be larger, allowing you to collect even more coins.
Simply continue through the level, grabbing coins, Pink coins, defeating enemies, and doing tricks until the timer counts down. At the end of the match Toadette will tally up the scores, and the winner will get all the Toadstools that were attracted added to their population. This will allow you to level up your Kingdom, and unlock new buildings, which can then be purchased using coins you earn through Toad Rally or World Tour.
You can also turn off your opponent's ghost by pressing their Mii Icon where it says 'BATTLE' in the upper right hand corner.
That’s everything you need to know to be successful at Toad Rally. Remember that each race costs you one Toad Rally Ticket, so make sure you don’t spend them all up at once. You can earn more Toad Rally Tickets by gathering all the Pink coins in levels, or by completing the Bonus Games that appear in the buildings you pick up for your Kingdom.

How to Get More Toad Rally Tickets in Super Mario Run

Learn how to get more Toad Rally Tickets so you can compete against your friends.

Toad Rally is a new game mode in Super Mario Run. In this new mode, players can race against other players to earn the most coins and get the most fans, or Toads. These Toads will then join your kingdom, allowing you to build things in Kingdom Builder Mode. In this article, we’ll show you how to get Toad Rally Tickets, so you can play this exciting mode.

How to Get Toad Rally Tickets

Getting more Toad Rally Tickets is quite easy when you think about it. Not only are there a ton of different ways for you to get new ones, but there are also plenty of opportunities throughout the game that allow players of any skill level to partake in the rewards. We outlined all the ways that you can get more Toad Rally Tickets below, so take a look and then collect as many as possible!
Complete Toad Rally Races
This one might seem a bit silly, but you have a chance to receive Toad Rally Tickets from competing in and winning Toad Rally matches. It’s kind of funny when you stop to think about it, but it’s also nice to know that you can earn back the Tickets that you spent by competing in this game mode.
Collect All 5 Pink Coins
Another way to earn additional Toad Rally Tickets is to find and collect all five of the Pink Coins in Super Mario Run’s World Tour levels. Each time you find all five of the coins in a level, you’ll be rewarded with a prize that can range from Toad Rally Tickets to a simple bundle coins to spend on your Kingdom’s decorations. We also noticed that you have a small possibility to collect more Toad Rally Tickets while completing Worlds in World Tour for the first time.

Purchase the Full Game
Super Mario Run is a free to play game, but if you want to dive into everything that Nintendo’s game has to offer, you’ll need to invest in the full game. This costs $9.99, but the upside is you’ll not only receive all the levels in World Tour, but you’ll also get 3,000 coins, a Question Block decoration item and 20 Toad Rally Tickets. That’s more than enough to help you get started.
Build Bonus Houses, Play Bonus Games
When upgrading your Kingdom, you’ll often have the chance to purchase Bonus Houses, which slowly refill over time. When they are refilled, you can tap on them to go into a Bonus Game, which tasks you with collecting as many coins as possible while trying to find a chest with something worthwhile inside. We played through the Bonus House several times, and found that it’s a nice way to earn additional Toad Rally Tickets, though it can be a bit tough to win at, since things are all based on chance and which path you choose to take in the game.
That’s all we know about earning Toad Rally Tickets at the moment. As you can tell, there are plenty of ways to acquire more Tickets, and plenty of things to do to keep you entertained in Super Mario Run.
